When you venture into a place beyond what has always been your comfort zone don’t quit when your first day goes by without major results. You have to go through a process. Before those of you who are anti-process start kicking things read on.
The process prepares you for the platform that you will eventually have. The process prepares you for the spiritual promotion. The process has within itself the ability to develop you so that you can handle what is going to happen in and through you.
You must go through the process. The process is almost like boot-camp. The process takes a whole bunch of stuff out of your life that is just going to hinder you from reaching your potential. The process is going to put things in you that will enable you to overcome the many obstacles you will face. The process will be full of teaching points and if you pay attention, learning points.
God gives us the gift of process before the evident promotion.
Just a little challenge for you…Change your process perspective.
Thanks Pastor! I totally agree with you. Change is good. Its so hard but like you said it prepares you for what is to come. Cleaning out the junk we dont need that just gets in the way. Then once we change we get comfortable. I want to go somewhere I have never been with my relationship with Jesus. He is revealing to me a lot of things I woudnt have noticed if I was not in the circumstances Iam in.
You’re right Lily. If you would have never stayed in this process who knows what you would be missing out on. God has done so many awesome things through you in the past 4 years that I have known you. I am so very glad that you have been faithful and that God has blessed me to be a part of this “process” with you. I want to learn all that God has for me through every situation! Lord teach me how to be content through my process.
I agree with you both, but the only thing i ask is ,”why is it that we need the uncomfortable to reach comfort. God is enriching me in a way that only he can know, but why does it feel so uncomfortable?
He shows me things that will change my life to be more pleasing to Him.
Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoy the challenge of pleasing Him in all that I do.
Love the Name of Jesus.
p.s. Love reading your blog Jono
What we call comfortable apparently GOD doesnt want us there. We think we have it all together and GOD has soooo much more for us that we cant even imagine. Its are own fault for getting comfortable. The best way that I can expalin it is if we had everything we wouldnt appreciate it as much if we had to work really really hard for…Trust me I dont like the feeling either but at the end of the day its well worth it.
Glad that Iam not alone!!!
